Your idler pulley reminds me that I need to get my car into the shop to have its replaced.

A few years ago, I was replacing my AC compressor, and before putting the belt back on, I thought I’d check the other pulleys. The idler pulley had some resistance, so I removed it and took it to the parts store to match one up.
As the counter guy went to fetch the new one off the shelf, I was idly fiddling with the old pulley in my hands, and as I was spinning it, the bearing suddenly locked up! Holy crap, I could not have picked a better time to replace it.

This pulley actually isn't bad. The AC compressor is squeaky and it didn't work anyway so off it goes
